If there is anything I like more than watching my favorite series ‘My name is Earl’, then it’s reading about it and discussing it with my friends. It’s such a whacky comedy that it has me in splits every time. It goes without saying that Jason Lee is my favorite but I like Pressly in the role of Joy a lot. She has all the oomph needed to keep us glued to the screen. Recently, while going through a celebrity gossip site, I came upon this piece of news about Jamie Pressly that I think you would find interesting.

The buzz is that her engagement with DJ Cubiche has run into rough weather. As we all know that the couple has been engaged for the last two years and together they have an 18 month old son, Dezi. Well, sources close to the couple revealed that they are on a break and considering permanent split. US Weekly quoted the insider, “They hit a rough patch and decided to take break. They still love each other and Dezi is their world.”

Oh boy, that’s really touching. But, then all relationships need to be worked upon constantly. I sincerely hope that they resolve the issues troubling them soon.

‘My Name is Earl’ is currently running with Season 4. Season was premiered on September 25, 08 and the season opener was entitled ‘The Magic Hour’. In this episode, we see that Mr. Earl remembers a wish he stole from a dying kid, Buddy, ten years ago. Now, he wants to cut it off the list. When he visits child’s home, he comes to know that he’s still alive. Buddy wants to make a movie and he asks earl to help him. Everyone is very surprised by Randy’s acting skills.

Next episode was entitled ‘Monkeys take a Bath’, aired on September 25,08. Here, we see that Earl has reached at no. 87 on his list. And, the task is to visit their parents to help them bring their old friends back. On October 2, 08, we watched two fantastic episodes namely ‘Joy in a Bubble’ and Stole an RV’. In ‘Joy in a Bubble’, Earl tries to present what Joy always wanted to have, a hot tub. But his attempt to do so backfires and she gets a toe infection. So, he takes her role and reveals some interesting things about the Turners and the kids. ‘Stole an RV’ brings Joy hunting for the legend of Pigsquatch. ‘Sweet Johnny’ was aired on October 9, 08. In this episode, Earl has an intention to make up for sleeping with local stuntman’s girlfriend. On the other hand, Joy needs to buy a gun. Here’s the upcoming schedule of ‘My Name is Earl’:

Of all the sitcoms My name is Earl is my all time favorite. Here we don’t laugh at any character, rather laugh with them. Earl is a very lovable character as he takes us through the myriad world of wrongs that he is now trying to set right. Indeed a very unforgettable character. I have gone over its episodes many times and still they are good for a laugh. I sincerely wish we had more shows like this one instead of tear jerker.

The star of this show Jason Lee who played Mr. Lee was in news recently when he and his long standing girl friend Ceren Alkac had a baby girl on August 10. No other details were given but Lee’s rep confirmed the news. Congratulations and good luck to our dear Earl.

It’s not the first time that Jason Lee has become father. He has a son with his ex Beth Riesgraf, who is also an actress. Jason Lee’s sense of humor in real life can be gauged by the name he gave to his son who is now 4 year old. He is named Pilot Inspektor. And if it’s any indication then we can expect the name of the new addition of the family to be really unusual and innovative.

While we are still at the topic of kookiest names of celeb kids let me tell you that another celebrity couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale has named their newborn …. Hold your breath… Zuma Nesta Rock. It sounds more like a name of rock concert to me than name of a baby. Folks if you come across such names do share with the fan community here.

Why do we people watch TV? For entertainment. And do tearful eyes, arguments, long pauses, equally long conversations really entertain you? Not me at least. I hate every kind of melodrama.. When I switch on the television I want some healthy fun, which can make me laugh and relieve my mind of all tensions.

That you can get only a on comedy shows. In fact I hate and vulgarity and slapstick comedy as shown in some TV shows, even in comedy series. But I have no complaints with My name is Earl at all. This is really clean, and situational comedy, you will never find indecency in it. Moreover this show is so funny that you fall off your chair as you laugh so hard at some moments

I liked the ‘Joy’s Wedding’ the most. In fact every episode has a different kind of fun in it. The first season was the funniest. Mr. Earl remains the hot topic of discussions among the group of my friends whenever we get together and talk about TV shows. This is fun pointing out each other’s sins and pinching that person by suggesting ways to correct that. Mr. Earl gives us the numerous ideas of leg pulling. I liked Joy befooling Earl in White Lie Christmas, have you seen that episode? If not, then do watch it, that’s terribly funny. I love all those episodes where Joy and Earl work upon each other. Poor Earl tries to be good and Joy never lets him do that. Poor Earl!

Today I feel like having some fun and to have a good laugh. After a long stressful week at work, now I definitely need some laughter therapy to cool down my nerves. I usually watch comedy shows in leisure time. Today while surfing I thought about the comedy shows I’ve not seen from the beginning and ‘My name is Earl‘ rang the bell.

I could not have selected a better show as I had a great laugh watching episodes of the first season. I didn’t have sufficient time to watch the whole first season so I downloaded first eight episodes of this season and watched some of them partially. The pilot episode was most amazing. I shared it with many of my friends. They all gave me the positive feedback. When we met after that we laughed again pointing towards the funniest scenes in it.

I laughed a lot on the list Earl prepares in the pilot episode, of his wrong deeds and which is very long. Now I am thinking if I’ll make a list of my wrong deeds then how long it is going to be? Well I am not that bad. But it’s true that I can’t recall all of my bad deeds. You know in the second episode, Earl’s wife Joy learns that she is beneficiary of Earl’s Will so she is now planning to kill the useless Earl.

If you don’t want to die laughing then, don’t watch the episode ‘Joy’s Wedding’. There, Joy gets nice revenge; she is going to remarry and plans her wedding on Earl’s birthday so that their friends couldn’t attend Earl’s birthday party. Being nice, Earl forgives Joy and helps her in wedding preparations and accidentally breaks her nose. I fell off my chair laughing at this scene. Oh my, he spoils her revengeful wedding. Now here is another task in Earl’s list “Ruined Joy’s wedding’. Check out yourself, and I promise you won’t regret watching it.

Catch a new guest on Thursdays, right at your home, on your televisions and on your favorite show ‘My Name Is Earl’. The new name on the show is Seth Green. Does this name ring the bell? I think no, okay I’ll remind you. This is the red- haired man from Scooby doo-2, the Monsters Unleashed (2004). He was playing a museum curator who’s suspected of being an anonymous masked villain wreaking havoc on the city of Coolsville by unleashing supernatural foes created by his monster machine. His last noticed appearance was on NBC’s ‘Four Kings’ in 2006. It was the story of four New-Yorkers who were friends since childhood.

In one of the episodes of the show Green will play Buddy Zaks, a former Make-a-Wish child whose wish of starring in an action movie was ruined by Earl (Jason Lee). In order to cross Buddy’s name off the list, Earl must produce Buddy’s dream film. The surprising thing about the news is that ‘My Name Is Earl‘ is the show where most of the people are working since long

So I can’t say, whether this little stint by Green will bring something different to the comedy show. I doubt because I don’t think he will be as good in the comic role as he was in his previous action leagues. But to be optimistic I just hope that this action freak’s appearance generates some more fun to the show, as in this show too he is keen to be an action star. Now that Jaime Pressly (Joy Turner) of the show is on Emmy’s nominee list in the category of supporting actress, comedy, I think the show creators should give more attention towards the specific roles.

I think this new formula is working with My Name is Earl. Earl is still in coma and his friends are working hard (I must say it hard) in order to cross items off his list. This episode provided some phenomenal moments and great dialogue while staying in touch with real My Name is Earl Story arc. This episode detailed the events how they ruined their parents’ vacation.

On ‘No Heads and a Duffel Bag’, Randy is at his parental house in order to cross the next item off the list. A few years ago, Earl and his buddies had ruined their parents’ vacation and now is the time to make amends. Carl Hickey, learn that their son is in coma and he has also been in jail.

Episode’s best is when Earl is sleeping in hospital bed and Carl Hickey tells his comatose son that the rush he felt saving his family and becoming a vigilante was worth more than a ruined vacation, and happily crossed that item off the list.

A great combination of drug-related themes, jokes and dialogues was seen in episode. Yeah, I’d like to mention about Carl Hickey who played the hero is completely true to characters it has established. In a nutshell, it was an episode with solid comedy and good principles. My best picks from episode:-

Carl: Oh god, I don’t want to die in shorts.

Earl: Smoking weed kills your brain cells. Drinking only screws up your liver. You got two of those.

Sure, sure, sure, I’ll tell you why I love this show. I big part of my love is seeing flashbacks from the past when Earl was a complete reprobate. I usually think that writers of the series are really very genius. The reason is that when people start to complaint about the show, they make it fantastic by giving it a new direction. Well, last week Earl was in coma. Randy discovers list and to helps his brother he decides to cross things off the list. As the episode starts, Randy and Joey take their first stab at the list and choose their task. It was an accident where he and Randy stole a motorcycle. On the other hand, Earl is in coma and in his dream he’s having very wonderful news.

His wife Billie is pregnant with their baby. Because of some misunderstanding, Earl believes that Billie is having an affair with another man. In the real world, Randy and Joey are trying to find the motorcycle. They discover that after drinking, they drove to a friend’s house. Then, they brought the motorcycle to the Crabshack.

Randy is told that Earl was so angry with him and tried to kill him by throwing him into oncoming traffic. Poor, Randy is trying to discover why Earl was so angry with him. After being kicked out of Crabshack, the two look for a place to hide motorcycle.

In present, Randy is shameful of his behavior and heaves a sigh of relief by returning the bike to American Chopper and goes back to Hospital so that he can cross this item off the list. My favorite scene of the episode: Randy terrorizing the restaurant customers in the chicken suit while Earl drunkenly proclaims that he knows how to talk to chickens. So he does the chicken dance, claps his hands, “Problem solved.” Download this episode here.

Today, means 25 April is Jason Lee’s Birthday who is best known for his role as Mr. Earl on ‘My Name is Earl’ series. He turns 38 today.

Mr. Earl, I mean, Jason Lee became a professional skateboarder during his teenage. Lee started acting when he got a supporting role in Kevin Smith’s 1995 comedy Mallrats.

This movie made Lee and Smith good friends and after that they worked on several projects together. Lee is the star and producer of ‘My Name is Earl’, a surprisingly successful series. He has also appeared on some hit Hollywood movies.

This birthday will be a special one for him as the series is back after a long hiatus this month and season 3 is running very successfully.

After the long hiatus, the return of My name is Earl was a big welcome as everyone was so excited to watch the series once again. Episode was good and it fulfilled the expectations of everyone. I really enjoyed this fabulous episode; so, let’s talk about the return of Earl along with his friends.

The episode starts; Earl and Billie are lying on the road after being hit by a car and are near to death. As, a result, Earl goes into coma and the accident takes him into an alternate world in the form of a sitcom. That time, Earl finds that he is living prefect life, he has married Billie and he has well-established career. Earl is dreaming of his perfect life and ambulance arrives.

We saw that they’re preparing to take Billie to the hospital. Randy, is the guy, who steals the ambulance and takes Earl to hospital but he doesn’t know where the hospital is so he picks Joy, Darnell, and Catalina. While Randy is driving the car, Darnell, Joy and Catalina are trying to revive Earl with the help of a defibrillator. Catalina opens the door and Joy and Earl both fall out of ambulance on the stretcher. Back in his dream world, Joy and Darnell show up at the home. Earl doesn’t want to have them there so he tries to pretend to be not at the home, because in his dream world, Earl dislikes Joy. But, Billie opens the door. Earl hires Catalina as the maid. At the hospital, Earl ends up getting a room next to Billie’s. What the bad news is: Earl is in coma and nobody knows when he’ll come out. Randy reveals his idea and suggests getting Jerold, the local faith healer, to save Earl.

Then, the gang move towards Jerold’s house and they find out he has lost the faith and he doesn’t want to help bad people anymore. After showing him a video of Joy doing good things, Jerold believes that Earl is a good man and agrees to help him. Jerold’s father asks him not to do that but Jerold doesn’t listen to him. At the hospital, the kid tries to faith heal Earl and fails. And, Jerold finds out that he can’t heal anyone and becomes happy because now, he’s just a normal kid.

Back is his dream life, Earl finds out that he’s going to get a promotion but he’ll have to leave everyone else behind. Randy scratches out Jerold’s name from Earl’s list and Earl’s condition starts improving. Finally, Randy finds that he’ll have to finish Earl’s list, only then, Karma will bring his brother back to life.

I really enjoyed the episode, by the way its available to download now , and get ready to see how the whole cast does without their gang leader.
