Ethan Suplee was born to Debbie and Bill Suplee in Manhattan. His parents, both actors, first met while performing Summer Stock and when he was 1, his family moved to Los Angeles.
When he was in school, Ethan Suplee started acting by participating in the school plays. It was his friend Giovanni Ribisi who encouraged Suplee to join acting class after he finished his high school. At 17, Ethan Suplee quit the acting class but made up his mind to pursue a career in acting.
His first biggest appearance was in Mallrats as William Black. It was directed by Kevin Smith and he later cast Suplee for Chasing Amy and Dogma.  Ethan made a cameo appearance on Clerks II. During 1994-98, Ethan Suplee made a guest appearance on ‘Boy Meets World’ as Frankie “The Enforcer” Stechino. His very appraisable and notable drama appearances include American History X as Nazi skinhead Seth; The Butterfly Effect as a goth; Remember the Titans as football player Louie Lastik; Blow as Johnny Depp’s buddy and initial drug-dealing partner Tuna and Cold Mountain as simpleminded Pangle.
In the popular HBO series ‘Entourage’, Ethan Suplee appeared as the scene mate of Vincent Chase, the leading character of the series. Next, he joined ‘My Name is Earl’ as Randy Hickey. In 2006, Ethan Suplee wedded Brandy Lewis and has two daughters with her, Frances Clementine (born 2005) and Billie Grace (born 2007).
