Of all the sitcoms My name is Earl is my all time favorite. Here we don’t laugh at any character, rather laugh with them. Earl is a very lovable character as he takes us through the myriad world of wrongs that he is now trying to set right. Indeed a very unforgettable character. I have gone over its episodes many times and still they are good for a laugh. I sincerely wish we had more shows like this one instead of tear jerker.

The star of this show Jason Lee who played Mr. Lee was in news recently when he and his long standing girl friend Ceren Alkac had a baby girl on August 10. No other details were given but Lee’s rep confirmed the news. Congratulations and good luck to our dear Earl.

It’s not the first time that Jason Lee has become father. He has a son with his ex Beth Riesgraf, who is also an actress. Jason Lee’s sense of humor in real life can be gauged by the name he gave to his son who is now 4 year old. He is named Pilot Inspektor. And if it’s any indication then we can expect the name of the new addition of the family to be really unusual and innovative.

While we are still at the topic of kookiest names of celeb kids let me tell you that another celebrity couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale has named their newborn …. I think this new formula is working with My Name is Earl. Earl is still in coma and his friends are working hard (I must say it hard) in order to cross items off his list. This episode provided some phenomenal moments and great dialogue while staying in touch with real My Name is Earl Story arc. This episode detailed the events how they ruined their parents’ vacation.

On ‘No Heads and a Duffel Bag’, Randy is at his parental house in order to cross the next item off the list. A few years ago, Earl and his buddies had ruined their parents’ vacation and now is the time to make amends. Carl Hickey, learn that their son is in coma and he has also been in jail.

Episode’s best is when Earl is sleeping in hospital bed and Carl Hickey tells his comatose son that the rush he felt saving his family and becoming a vigilante was worth more than a ruined vacation, and happily crossed that item off the list.

A great combination of drug-related themes, jokes and dialogues was seen in episode. Yeah, I’d like to mention about Carl Hickey who played the hero is completely true to characters it has established. In a nutshell, it was an episode with solid comedy and good principles. Carl: Oh god, I don’t want to die in shorts.

Earl: Smoking weed kills your brain cells. Drinking only screws up your liver. You got two of those.
