The ratings of My Name is Earl tv show are not going good and it’s just the fourth season of series. Hence, it could be one reason which would make NBC Network to bring series to an end after the current season. If it happens, FOX Network would pick up My Name is Earl for the next season. Most probably, fourth season of My Name is Earl would be the last one on the NBC network. The two major reasons behind this hard-hitting decision are- increasing costs and the decreasing Nielsen ratings. As per latest news coming out, NBC Network has intentions to save the costs, by bringing the show to an end, as the nonstop fall in ratings is not up to their standard.

I know it’s not good news for fans and everybody who loves My Name is Earl would surely feel bad after coming to know about it. Well, no official words have been released by either of the networks, Fox and NBC, so certainty is not there. But, let’s hope for the best and pray that if NBC cancels it, FOX would definitely give it a time slot. Insiders are telling that Kevin Reilly, the former NBC Entertainment president, currently with Fox Network would is interested to bring My Name is Earl to his network.

Throughout its three seasons, My Name is Earl did a marvelous job and had been one of the most popular NBC shows since its premiere. But, as series returns with the fourth season, ratings started declining and people started losing their interest in the series. In fact, people have also started considering it as a boring show, that’s not true however.

Whatever is there but ‘My Name is Earl’ is nowhere near to get cancelled. Fans would like to see more of Mr. Earl making right the wrongs that he had done throughout his life.
